"Z" launches in New Zealand on the 13th May 2011
This morning in East Tamaki New Zealand was a launch to highlight of the change from Shell to "Z" by Greenstone Energy. It covered the reason for choosing "Z" and their strategy going forward. After the presentation they opened some very large curtains and said lets go and check out the real deal and had a petrol station forecourt and store for everyone to view.
Some of the key take outs:
- They plan to roll out 10 test stores right throughout NZ
- They will test new ideas and get shoppers feedback on them, and then change stores to reflect this
- Final roll out of all Shell stores to Z will be by October 2011
- They are bringing back service on forecourts - they plan to guarantee someone will be there from 10am - 5pm
- TV advertising started yesterday
